Taken in Manchester 2012, with a hang over and a long walk of shame to complete. This was a time when I was most prolific in taking photos, i'd take my camera bag everywhere, every day, work, nights out, late night camera walks. It was a great time to be a photographer!

A very dramatic photograph of a bridge in Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire. This was taken some years ago when I was experimenting with dreaded HDR, a digital technique traditionally used to increase dynamic range in your photos by merging several photos taken at varying exposures. It can have a very distinctive look and is often overdone (in my opinion this shot is ' a bit much') or used as a processing style. 
 
Ferrybridge and Knottingley are geologically situated on good soil on a layer of Magnesian Limestone.


The region is close to M62 and A1(M) motorway connections, as well as rail network intersections, including northward to York, south to Pontefract (and Rotherham), west to both Wakefield and Leeds, east to Goole, and south-east to the East Coast Main Line.
